New production site opened with a staff of 9 now

Company renamed Karl Verpackungsmittelservice Kunststoffverarbeitung
and licenced to take on trainees

2000

Change of name as Karl Verpackungen e.K.

2001

Initial DIN EN ISO 9001 certification

2002

New annex for extension of production and warehouse for outgoing goods completed.

2004

Number of employees increased to 30 including 4 trainees, a branch office was opened in Austria, certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001

2005

Company changed its name as Karl Verpackungen GmbH & Co.KG,  production shop  extended, number of employees increased to 35

2006-2007

Annex for new printing press and commissioning

2008

A second flexo printing line was planned and designed. Change of name as  Karl Verpackungen GmbH

2010

New central warehouse built and dispatch area restructured, 
first 12-ink central impression flexo printing press  in Europe put into operation and the necessary infrastructure adapted.

2011

 HACCP principles based on the Codex Alimentarius integrated in  the corporate processes.

the owner and managing director Jürgen Karl died

2012

His son Ronny Karl succeeded as managing director and was entered in the commercial register.    Purchase of a  laminating machine,  machine for the ziplock bag production  put into operation.

2013

Laminating line put into operation

2014

Certification according BRC / IoP (British Retail Consortium / Institute of Packaging)
(International standard for suppliers of foodstuffs packaging).

2015

The machine park will be extended by a new finishing machine for special format products.

2016

Extension of product line blue by a co-operation with Climate Partner, certification Blue Angel for mailing bags.

2017

Re-design of Karl Verpackungen GmbH
